MBSquared's music is a casual acoustic sound. It's laid back and easy to listen to. We understand that starting high school can be a difficult and stressful time. Some people have their niche in life, and are already involved in groups. For others, they are still searching for what they want in life. Our music can bring these kids together. Our casual acoustic sound will be enjoyed by all different walks of life.
College is no exception. It can be difficult and overwhelming. They may have roommmates they don't get along with, struggling in their major, or difficulties choosing a major. They may be living away from home for the first time. Our music will help with the stresses of life. Our music will bring those people together, and help give support because there is strength in numbers.
Meleny is a 22 year old student at Dixie State. She is in her last semester of college and is getting ready to graduate. She used to have all of her friends to hang out with on weeekends; however, now they all have boyfriends; now she spends a lot of her time driving home to visit her family on weekends. She has a 6 hour drive to Logan, Utah... That's 6 hours to listen to music. MBSquared plays a type of music that comforts Meleny and helps her get through this lonely stage in her life. It also brings her together with other students that like MBSquare. She is attending the band's first concert on December 1st.
John is 18 years old and has just graduated high school. He is now a freshman in highschool he feels "stranded oh so stranded" and misses "Katie" his highschool girlfriend. The emptiness that he is feeling connects him to MBsquared's music and he feels like he can apply the band's lyrics to his own life. He feels comforted and apart of something at the college by listening to the music and attending concerts close by.
Jerry is 15 years old and is an avid gamer. He is always online and competing with other gamers. He ran across MBSquared's facebook page one afternoon and thought he would try them out. Now while he plays his games he listens to MBSquared and it helps to feel more connected. Now he is attending the concert in Salt Lake!
They will have different personalities, differnt goals, but they will all find help and support through our music.
Letter Written to MBSquared
So this is a letter that was written to us from a fan...
Yo MBSquared,
That last tour was great yall stepped it up. I remember back when you first started and you guys rocked then so now look at you. Your music is so inspiring to me and to my fellow band mates. Hope the next tour turns out even sicker than this last one. Didn't quite know if you guys would rock this hard but you do. Rock on forever dudes.
